Cameroon’s No.1 international goalkeeper could make a return to his former club, Barcelona as the Spanish giant is reportedly in touch with him for a possible move.
After an impressive display with Ajax during the 2018-2019 season which saw the club reach the finals of the Champions League, the goalkeeper, having played a crucial role in that campaign has attracted the attention of European giants. Barcablaugranes.com reports that Barcelona is in constant contact with Onana as the club is considering him as a possible back-up option for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Should the discussions come to a finality, a move for Onana to Catalonia would be a return to a club where he spent five of his formative years.
Meanwhile, Tottenham and Chelsea are also reported to have an eye on the Cameroon international as both clubs have been struggling to get their goalkeeping department to put out good performances and keep clean sheets.
