On Saturday, the Miss&Master start-up contest took place at the Castel-hall of Douala. A display of products for sale was part of the event, and businesses and many entrepreneurs participated in it. That’s was the case of Marius Trésor, 32 , and a father of two. This young entrepreneur deals in the sale of “shawarmas”. It is a sandwich comprised of Lebanese bred, vinaigrette, crudités, chilli and fillet of beef. Its cost: 1.000 CFA . Marius works usually at Cité- Cicam.
The rather good looking black kid of 1.84 m ventured in the sales of this feast item at age 17. Which makes it exactly 15 years today. Following a training in catering, he works for several restaurants in his area. But he, like many other Cameroonians, chose self-employment.

The fairs are an opportunity for the business of shawarmas of Marius
He makes a benefit varying between 25.000 and 30.000 CFA daily. “the beginning has been very difficult “, he confided. In fact he is not just in that business only. “I also provide catering services and interior design of houses”, he says. It’s thanks to all the three activities that he caters for his family. Jonas Yarro, president of Camas-jeunes, and him got to know each other at his head office located at Cité-Cicam. The day they met, Jonas tasted the shawarma of Marius and was appreciative. Both men then exchanged contacts.
It is therefore through that meeting that he puts on display his shawarmas at the first edition of Miss& Master start-up.
