Productive weekend for the Ayew brothers

André and Jordan Ayew

The Ayew brothers were on target over the weekend for their respective clubs.

Football resumed in England on June 17, and the weekend was packed with matches where African players played a part. It didn’t take a long time for the Ayews to pick up the momentum they were on before Covid-19 stroke.

The older of the brothers, André Ayew featured for Swansea in the championship whilst the younger, Jordan lead the attack for Crystal Palace in the premiership.
André assisted first, before finding the net through a penalty as his side trashed Middlesbrough on a 3-0 score.

Jordan on the other hand scored a record-making goal against Bournemouth that gives him the spot of the Ghanaian player with the most goals (25) in the Premier League.
